IREM SPA is looking for a PAINTING COORDINATOR for internal staff expansion

Duties and skills of the candidate:

1. Previous experience in the task and autonomy in carrying out the assigned task;
2. The profile sought must have gained at least 5 years of experience in the field of painting and coatings of industrial plants (including TSA, fire proofing and galvanizing);
3. Ability to organize operational staff and / or sub-contractors;
4. Knowledge of inspection, control and testing techniques on activities carried out internally or through sub-contractors;
5. Ensure that the painting activities are carried out in accordance with the quality levels required by the customer's specifications, codes or internal instructions / procedures;
6. Cooperate with the safety and health department;
7. Cooperate with the quality department;
8. Carry out weekly meetings with sub-contractors and / or internal staff to plan and coordinate the work;
9. Communicate the progress of the work on a weekly basis;
10. Approve the test and control inspection reports issued by the sub-contractors;
11. Know the measurement and control instruments to be used during inspections and their management in terms of calibration / verification / validation;
12. Know the typical defects inherent to coatings, related to environmental and application conditions;
13. Ability to solve problems that may occur during work activities, and ability to propose corrective actions to prevent them from being repeated in the future;
14. Ability in drafting quality control plans and in their application;
15. Ability to conduct audits at sub-contractors;
16. Carry out training activities;
17. Conducting risk analysis and weekly meetings with operational staff;
18. Required qualifications: preferably III liv. NACE or FROSIO or II liv. NACE or FROSIO;
19. Knowledge of standards applicable to the sector such as: ISO 8501 series, ISO 8502 series, ISO8502 series, ISO8504, ISO 11124, ISO12944, ISO4624, ISO 2808, ASTM D3359, ASTM D3359, ASTM D4417, ASTM D4752, SSPC series;
20. Certificate of visual acuity and correct perception of colors
21. Knowledge of English;
22. Willingness to work on the road.
