Irem continues its commitment to employee training. Following last year's welding course, today, in collaboration with Randstad, we are launching a new training program for project control managers. Over a month and a half of in-company lessons, we will teach eight young individuals aged 20 to 27 the necessary skills for working at our construction sites.
"For us - explains Giovanni Musso, CEO of Irem - personnel is a crucial asset that allows us to stay ahead of the times, outperforming the competition and ensuring business continuity. We have created a permanent academy within the company. We must continue down this path because training new talent is a significant challenge that we must overcome if we want to achieve increasingly higher performance."
Fabio Calvo, head of project control at Irem and course manager, continues "The goal is for all eight participants to be able to manage on-site construction activities, becoming leaders of our departments abroad. We strongly believe in training local youth, as it is part of the company's DNA. In all our active sites, 60-70% of the personnel are from Siracusa."
Bruno Piccoli and Tiziana Murabito from Randstad emphasized the partnership with our company. "Our relationship has been solidified over the years, as Irem engages us in various professional profiles. The current job market demands increasing specialization, and we provide our expertise to enable Irem to make a difference."
