“Yet another course confirms the company's commitment to continuing to train young people from the local area, ensuring productive continuity and overcoming the challenges imposed by the markets.”
These were the words of Irem's CEO, Giovanni Musso, at the conclusion of the second free training course “PartIREMo con le competenze 2.0,” promoted by Irem Spa, Rotary Siracusa, and Randstad. The project, funded by Forma.temp (www.formatemp.it), was conducted at Irem's headquarters and involved young men and women aged 20 to 30 in 240 hours of theoretical and practical training aimed at preparing professionals for technical office roles and work accounting.
The lessons were led by Franco Strazzulla and Vincenzo Annaloro, two of Irem’s most experienced professionals, who taught participants essential skills, including Microsoft Office, basic engineering, accounting, and English.
“We provided the best resources for their training,” continues Giovanni Musso. “These activities also hold social value, aligned with ESG principles, because companies should not only create wealth for themselves but also foster well-being in the regions they operate in. I would like to thank Rotary Siracusa and Randstad, essential partners in this virtuous journey, and I am confident that many of these young people will begin working in our business units in Italy and abroad as early as January next year,” Musso concluded.
