In the prestigious Aula Giulio Cesare at the Campidoglio, in the heart of institutional Rome, the national ceremony of the Industria Felix ESG Award – Sustainable Italy that Competes took place. During the event, IREM S.p.A. of Siracusa received the High Honor of Financial Performance for its economic and financial solidity and its good practices in the fields of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability.
The initiative, promoted by Industria Felix Magazine, a quarterly publication on economics and finance directed by Michele Montemurro and supplement to Il Sole 24 Ore, in collaboration with Cerved Rating Agency, Cerved, and A.C. Industria Feli, is one of the most prestigious awards granted to Italian companies that excel in management reliability and tangible commitment to sustainability.Accepting the award on behalf of IREM was CEO Giovanni Musso, who emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its green and social transition across Europe.
“IREM is progressively moving towards projects increasingly focused on environmental sustainability and social impact,” said Musso. “In several European countries, we are promoting professional training programs for unemployed individuals, giving them the opportunity to gain new skills, find stable employment, and achieve personal fulfillment, thereby contributing to the growth of the entire community. This is how we interpret sustainability: not only by reducing emissions or innovating processes, but also by generating real social value.”
With this new recognition, IREM confirms its position among Italy’s most virtuous companies for both economic performance and commitment to sustainable transition — reaffirming the central role of education and social inclusion as key drivers of responsible growth.
