Quality is about meeting the customer's needs and exceeding its own expectations while continuing to improve, is the principle by which Syracuse-based Irem Spa is inspired to rise in the energy plant sector in Italy.

The company represented by its CEO Giovanni Musso received the award among the 86 most management-competitive, financially reliable and sometimes sustainable companies in Southern Italy (out of 389 Italian companies) that were honored yesterday afternoon, June 29, at the Acaya Golf Resort, in the province of Lecce, during the 52nd Industria Felix event. Irem Spa was presented with the award with the following motivation, "Best large enterprise for management performance and financial reliability Cerved headquartered in the province of Syracuse."

Irem Spa was chosen by the Scientific Committee of Industria Felix from a binding algorithm developed by Luiss together with Cerver that selected a total of about 700 thousand corporations with registered offices in Italy.

Flattered, Irem's CEO and president of the metal-mechanical enterprises section of Confindustria Siracusa, Giovanni Musso, said, "This award is an important recognition that on the one hand fills us with pride, and on the other stands as a testament to the fact that Irem today represents an Italian industrial reality thanks to many years of positive management, teamwork, and the commitment of our managers and all employees who with professionalism face both in Italy and abroad the execution of high-tech projects achieving ever higher performance. The enhancement of human capital is a fundamental goal of the company," Musso said. "Human resources are considered as an essential component of the company's organization, as an asset that contributes decisively to growth, business continuity and the consolidation of the company in international markets."

The event was organized by Industria Felix Magazine, a quarterly magazine edited by Michele Montemurro as an optional supplement to Il Sole 24 Ore, with a survey entitled: "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business."

Initiative in collaboration with Cerved, Luiss Guido Carli University, Industria Felix Cultural Association, with the support of Confindustria, under the patronage of Confindustria Puglia, Simest (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group), Politecnico di Bari, University of Bari Aldo Moro, University of Salento, University of Foggia, with the media partnership of Il Sole 24 Ore and Askanews, and with the partnerships of Banca Mediolanum, Mediolanum Private Banking, Grant Thornton, Plus Innovation, M&L Consulting Group.

The Syracuse company, which has always elevated itself in professionalism with acquired dynamics of progression among the different internal production areas, has received in the span of a few years attestations and recognitions in the national sphere such as: the Industria Felix Award to a Syracuse company, Irem Spa among the best in Italy (Nov. 24, 2021); Award 100 Italian Excellencies, also awarded to Syracuse's Irem (Dec. 21, 2021) and the Cribis Prime Company Award (Dec. 24, 2022).
