TECHNICAL EMPLOYER - SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT CONSTRUCTION SITE OFFICE

HSE supervisor: The candidate shall manage the health, safety and environmental aspects of a Construction Site at the office and in the field, relating to maintenance work on already existing plants, or activities relating to the construction of a new plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify the actual implementation of existing HSE procedures, before the start of works
• Verification and contribution to the update of all Corporate System Documentation or the documentation provided by the Client, necessary for the fulfillment of health and safety obligations (drafting of minutes, completing forms for safety checks, checks on PPE use, etc.)
• Supervise the accurate application by workers of all corporate procedures and safety, environment and sustainability regulations
• Contribute to the collection of construction site data necessary to monitor the effectiveness of the Health, Safety and Environment System
• Coordinate with the HSE Manager of the Construction site with whom he will carry out regular and constant meetings and discussions and to whom he will report about his own activities.
• Contribute to the communication and promotion of the aspects related to HSE and corporate sustainability policies (awards, incentives, meetings / inspections / reports and internal reporting)
• Check the conformity of the equipment according to the company system requirements and technical regulations
• Promote the proper and continuous maintenance of temporary installations to create suitable conditions for workers
• Provide assistance in planning and provision of corporate information and training on Safety and the Environment

As part of the above mentioned activities, according to the indications given by the responsible contact person, the employee will also take care of:

• Storage of the hard copy documentation of the Safety, Environment and Sustainability records;
• Management of the Site IT archive according to the specifications given by the site HSE Manager;

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferably on technical studies
• Valid ASPP (Prevention and Protection Service Officer) qualification
• Experience in this sector of at least 3 years, accrued in the management of construction site supervision in the Construction sector
• Knowledge of applicable legislation (safety and environment)
• Good Knowledge of written and spoken English language

Complete the job profile:

• Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of the management of Regulated Systems by guidelines (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 SA 8000, etc.)
• Have some skills certifications, Have a VOL VCA qualification
• Have a Qualification of Auditor of Regulated Systems
• Knowledge of additional languages
• Previous experience in carrying out the position, in the management of Turnaround Maintenance Works in process plants
