IREM SpA has been awarded by SMS Group a contract for the pre-assembly, transportation and installation of modules related to the construction of a new DRI Plant at ThyssenKrupp Steel Factory in Walsum, Germany. SMS Group is a leading Company skilled on EPC of steel factories with cutting hedge process technologies, in detail the DRI (Direct Reduction Iron) plant represents the latest process development on green steel production by hydrogen, also recognized by EU taxonomy as reference for hard to abate Industry.
The modules pre-assembly will start at IREM Yard in Siracusa within 3rd quarter 2024.
